The Benn Hall

Good, well organised multi-purpose venue. Well staffed bar, big stage, large uninterrupted auditorium (no pillars). Good acoustics, parking, easy to get to. I have seen great bands here, visited antiques fairs, and donated blood.

I hold events here and attend events here. Great location, and with a choice of 3 rooms, you can't go wrong.

Saw a fabulous production of Les Miserables. All of the cast were spectacular for such a young (in age) production company.

I love the Benn Hall. It's easy to get to, great variety of shows, a small bottle of Pepsi Max is £2.50 but that's theatre prices. It's a safe venue because they have security, it's wheelchair accessible, has a car park, I didn't queue at the bar. Definitely going back!

Went to see a show, reminded me of old style village halls which is major disadvantage. Whilst plenty of space between rows seating needs to be on levels instead of flat, impossible to see through people to the stage a grandstand style seating would solve that.Bars are too small to cope with demand and the fact that each bar does not offer the same range means that you are forced to queue twice.Finally I paid to watch a show not listen to some obnoxious family of fully grown adults have a conversation all the way through but the 2 security guards chose to do nothing about that.Would seriously consider before booking anything here again and would not recommend.

Too hot. Windows open, or air conditioning, would've made it more bearable. Pity, we were tempted to watch shows here, but are less inclined now.

We had an amazing time! Great seats, comfortable and could see the stage perfectly. Great little panto, will definitely book next year too
