Boots Pharmacy

Always kept waiting even sometimes just to be served, I have a pet hate of shops where the staff feel their time is more important than the customers, the pharmacy can be hit and miss as if you expect to collect prescription even when it is ready, you may be unlucky enough to find the pharmacist is having coffee or lunch or in worst circumstance has gone home and shop staff wont let you have your medication. This is and always has been a shop where the staff feel they are allowed to treat customers badly, I have even written to boots head office, but, nothing has ever changed.

Not very good communication..always seems as if your a inconvenience for them, unless I'm feeling the wrong vibe

I have just been in the pharmacy to ask advice on my Daughter's foot before purchasing anything to treat it as not 100% sure what it is... the polite young girl behind the counter said she'd ask the pharmacist to have a look if I could wait a few minutes.... The Pharmacist was busy getting people's prescriptions ready yes I understand this - she has her own job to do... but to look at my Daughter's foot would've taken less than 30 seconds... 20 Minutes I waited and still no one looked at her foot - so today i'm sorry to say your customer service was non existent! you only got 1 star today through the young girl being polite.

Alas customer service is non existent. Too few staff and poor processes, you will wait for ages, prescriptions are often missing and in one case wrong, was given tramadol rather than another non painkilling drug, this could have had a grave impact because of its contraindications or interactions with other drugs. When this was raised with staff it was brushed away as just a mistake

We had our flu jab at this boots branch and the staff behind the till were lovely. We had arrived 10 minutes early to make sure we were on time and 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment we were still waiting. No problem with waiting but when I asked how long it would be until we were seen because my husband has a phobia of needles and we both had to get back to work ourselves, the pharmacist was not happy! Rather than apologising and explaining she was busy she simply said, just because you book for a time doesn’t mean you’ll get seen at that time?! Her office was 1 metre from where we were sitting, she could have easily opened the door and said, sorry to keep you waiting, 10 minutes and I’ll be with you - her behaviours was just rude and unnecessary especially when she’s about to give you a jab! Will go elsewhere next time to both of our reliefs I’m sure!

Came here last week for my yearly flu jab. It's a very small Boots compared to my local store, the staff are friendly and the standards are the same as you would expect in most Boots stores, clean and professional. Would highly recommend.
