A nice park to walk the dog or go for a run. There is some parking, a cafe, a walled garden for a more sedate calming stroll.You can cross the river both ends and walk through the park on the other side to make a circular walk.

Darley playing fields are part of a large Derwent Park located not far from Derby city centre. Beautiful and well maintained park with good footpaths and cycling tracks. It has all sorts of sport playing fields, there is something for everyone, football, basketball, cricket, running, cycling, etc. I love going to this park on a sunny day as it can be reall pleasure walking along Derwent river. The nearby old mill is also lovely to visit on your park walk. Highly recommended for a visit with your family and children.

10 minutes from Derby city centre, this is a beautiful oasis of greenery and a fantastic walk all around the park taking in the village and Mill.

Great park to walk around. Nearly 10, 000 steps all the way round. Lovely cafe to sit, relax and enjoy. Small play area for children.

Great place for a pleasant walk. The flood prevention work is complete and everywhere looks very tidy. Places to exercise, walk your dog, running or just taking time to look at the wonderful River Derwent. Simply great. Enjoy.
