Little did we know about the existence of this restaurant on the premises of the Skissernas Museum until we visited the museum on a Thursday evening when it's open late. We managed to persuade the maître d'hotel to serve us a selection of their fixed menu after we had visited the exhibitions. We were surprised by the quality of the food and the delicacy of the compositions. This place largely outweighs any other restaurant in town. Highly recommended!

We had a truly lovely gastronomic experience last night. The atmosphere is excellent, the waiter knowledgeable about both the food and the wine, and as a vegetarian I did not feel second best to my meat-eating husband in terms of sumptuous food flavours; my one suggestion for improvement would be to offer vegetarian guests their own protein source instead of simply more vegetables. For example, we were served delicious runner beans, and my husband’s came with a sizable piece of trout, whereas I just had more beans: a local poached egg would have been fantastic. Finally, when he had mushrooms and lamb, I simply had more mushrooms with a bit of lentils. Given the attention to all detail as well as the pricing, it is not unreasonable to expect perhaps a nut based croquette or similar if the restaurant is truly interested in accommodating vegetarian diners. Having said that, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back, and hopefully there will be more on offer on their set menu for non-meat diners. Many thanks for a magical evening :)

I enjoyed a fantastic lunch out with my colleagues. More than a fixed daily special, they also have a series of additional dishes available, as well as a 3-course set. I ordered the duck, with chanterelle mushrooms and potatoes. It was really delicious. The interior is also quintessentially Swedish, very simple and cozy. The service was very kind and relaxed. Recommended!

Only thing I can say is amazing. The dining area is fabulous area to sit in and they have a really well balanced non alcoholic drink menu to pair with the five course menu.

A very good food and a safe bet for a pleasant meal experience any time. It is a kind of a hidden gem, off main roads, but quite nicely co-located with the Museum of Sketches. One can even enjoy a view towards the famous University Library, especially when sitting on the terrace. Being true to the Scandinavian design, it is neither cozy nor comfortable, though, but it all depends on your artistic taste.
