Excellent butcher with a fantastic selection of quality raw meats and cooked produce - hams, pies, etc. Luxury dry aged cuts of beef available for special occasions, along with quality wines and gins. Pork loin steaks, lamb shanks, bacon and sausages are well worth a try. Looking forward to cooking the reassuringly expensive cote de boueff!

The best butchers shop in the history of time. The varied range of meats on display and the way it is all presented is impressive and so incredibly appetising. Such creativity goes in to the meat dishes prepared for customers. The agony of so much choice! The bacon, the sausages and the pies are my own personal favourites. The quality of food at Coates will make you realise how inferior it is at the supermarket and how, quite frankly, you are being short changed at the supermarket.
