Shocking experience in store. The majority of the staff are rude, and don’t appear to what to help customers. They are cheeky with their responses and not nice people

Just a big thankyou to Taz in kitchen department for going to trouble of contacting us ,after l phoned yesterday and was told couldn't help with extra plinths he ordered them in and helped finish our kitchen off Thank you. Excellent service!!!!

Very tidy store with large range of DIY and gardening products for sale. Mildly difficult to get to with local traffic and tucked away so you need to know it’s there or you’d miss it.

Met this young lad by the name of Zahid he was very helpful. I suffer from taurettes and I have down syndrome he took me around the entire shop helping me with what I needed. I will definitely come again 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Every year my housemates and I aim to get the most wonderful huge Christmas tree. And we don’t let not having a car put us off. Today I saw this especially magnificent tree in Kings Heath Homebase, and had to have it. Dave and the team there went above and beyond to make sure I had the easiest homeward trip possible. I can’t commend them highly enough. Thank you!

Small and fairly pointless ok for minor DIY top ups.

Horrible experience at this store. The customer service is shocking. They are so rude. The manager is confrontational and clearly not trained to deal with customers. I was spoken to extremely rudely by a staff member who proceeded to call her manager who right from the off just started speaking to me in a confrontational manner rather than asking me what the situation was. I will escalate this until I receive an apology from Sian. She accused me of swearing when I did not as she was so wound up and hearing what she wanted to hear and set on making me out as some villain all because she was having a bad day. Kept telling me how customers are waiting and so I shouldn't be taking up their time and how they aren't paid to hire out rug doctors so I'm not an actual customer. The eye rolling, the sighs, the awful manner and the disgusting attitude. I don't understand why anyone with such an attitude would work in customer service let alone manage a store. Go somewhere else if you're hiring a rug doctor, these people will unnecessarily make your life difficult. When I went to hire it as well, Mandy said she'll serve customers in the line behind me first and was clearly annoyed because the process takes ages. So, I patiently waited and all it was was showing ID and didn't even take that long. If you don't like lending the rug doctor, that's not the fault of the customers who are using a service you've advertised. Will be getting in touch with Rug Doctor as well. New management and staff training needed.

We visited Homebase to get our kitchen designed. We had the pleasure of doing this alongside the lovely Tazz. Could not recommend him enough. He went through every little detail with us and ensured we were making informed decisions. We felt at ease throughout the whole process. There was no pressure, Tazz was very patient with us. This was our first kitchen design so having someone so calm and informative was just absolutely perfect. Overall a brilliant experience and we would definitely recommend.

Staff cutbacks have gone too far; one poor woman left to deal with queries, returns, and sales meant we had a long wait.
