Very nice place for breakfast.Very friendly service and good menu. There is a wide selection of pancakes or toast and eggs. And of course an englisch breakfast plate. There is also a good selection of vegetarian breakfast.Food is fantastic.A clear recommendation for a great start in the day.

I’ve heard so many great things about this place and it certainly did not disappoint! The atmosphere was so cozy especially on a rainy day. We were lucky enough to get the window seat!I ordered the Eggs by the Sea and my boyfriend got the Breakfast pancake stack. Both we delicious!Would recommend booking as they are really popular.

We came here for brunch. The food was delicious. It had a good atmosphere, it was quite busy when we were there but that didn't detract from the experience. They had a peanut butter hot chocolate which was phenomenal.

This is a lovely restaurant with friendly staff! Service is quick and we were seated immediately too (we had reservations). I got the chai latte which is so good with their homemade chai sauce. The eggs Benedict was ok - the sourdough was tough which tends to be a common problem in eggs Benedict. The chicken Caesar sandwich is good, tastes as expected so nothing too special about it.

Very good.Note: If you like runny eggs get the poached. Fried is fried dead, apparently there is no over easy.Everything was tasty. Very busy. Great atmosphere. Everyone seems happy and chattyService was good. Coffee was greatWe had the traditional Scottish breakfast and the pancake stack breakfast.Delicious. (Husband wanted runny eggs and we ordered the wrong thing. She didn't understand over easy)Adding before and after photos. It was good. We will come here again.

My wife and I stopped her for breakfast the other week. Unfortunately it was very busy so we had to wait 20 mins for a table. The restaurant is very old fashioned looking but with a quirky twist. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Its rather crammed in there with lots of tables squeezed into a small space. Certainly no room for large parties and not accessible for wheelchairs or prams. You know they have too many tables when guests have to ask you to move to get back to their seat, and that the waitresses have to squeeze past you to collect dishes. Thankfully my wife and I like being cosy but I would still put this as a mark down. There is a good selection on the menu but not too vast - just now I like it. They have your staples but also a few unique items. They also have a specials board. We both went for a salted caramel and peanut butter hot chocolate which was lovely! For food we decided to go full Scottish breakfast. My wife quite enjoyed hers but mines was a little disappointing. The eggs were great and so was the sausage. However, the mushrooms were undercooked for my liking. Far too thick and chewy for my preference. Speaking of thick, I usually don’t mind tomato but this one was so chunky and I couldn’t be bothered having to cut into it so I left it. I tried soda bread for the first time and it was alright but prefer sourdough. Haggis was fine and the bacon wasn’t my favourite. Again, a bit undercooked. The fat was stringy. I also thought that for £15.95 we didn’t get that much. Not great value especially for a sub par breakfast. I wish I went for the Banana bread tumble because it sounded and looked outstanding. Maybe next time.
