Venture Photography Glasgow

Absolutely outstanding would 110% recommend and would definitely go back in a heart beat.Was made to feel so welcome, the photographer was excellent with me, my partner and my newborn. Couldnt have picked a better place!!

Picked up our picture after we had our photoshoot before lockdown! We are so happy with the picture. The staff have been amazing throughout from booking appointment to choosing photograph and keeping us updated during this difficult time. Highly recommended

Wow avoid at all costs. Everything seemed so nice and pleasant and staff where lovely -until they have your money. Prices are crazy expensive. They have £975 of mine. We paid in November, some of the pictures where xmas presents which was handy as it saved us from having to go shopping for the granny's.Apparently Emma's diary voucher only buys you 1 photo although it's supposed to be worth (£250) so don't fall for that.Luke is actually a really good photographer, he should really get out of there and go solo as his talents are wasted in a place like this.Anyway it's the Friday 1 week before xmas and I give them a call for an update, a man says he will call back and he does after about 25mins to say something about us being 3rd in the queue and should be ready by Tuesday. Called on Tuesday and a lady said they would call back. Headed through to the Glasgow area as we wanted to be relatively close when they called but they never did and no one answered when we called back. Come Wednesday we were getting impatient as we were heading to Aviemore for the next couple of days. Again spoke to Luke and he said someone will call back and no one did. Same thing happened on Thursday and Friday. On the Friday though we said to the lady, no one is phoning back and they keep saying they will. She said....they have closed up early today for xmas!!!Unbelievable, we are in Aviemore 2 days before xmas with absolutely no way of getting our pictures in time and no presents for our parents. So we told her to cancel the whole thing!. It is now the 17th Jan and we still can't get them. So my husband is going to chargeback his credit card. What a joke of a company!!!

We initially came across Venture Studio when purchasing an offer at The Dog Lovers Show and were really impressed with their stand and customer service. We were contacted prior to our shoot and made fully aware of what to expect etc.Myself and my partner arrived for our shoot, with our dog. We were instantly made to feel at home and the staff we met at the dog show recognised us and were delighted to meet our dog! The shoot was fantastic, the photographer Luke shot lots of variations and we all had a great laugh - we left in a great mood.We returned a week later for our viewing with AnnMargaret which was a very comfortable affair(chilling on a sofa with some popcorn!). The photographer put together a video, and we saw our photos which had been expertly edited - we were delighted with the outcome and purchased a print in the Lumino which was printed on metal(something we had never seen), and really impressed us.Just this weekend we returned to collect the finished articles and yet again warmly welcomed. The finished product is fantastic and hung in our home with joy.The team makes you feel at ease, at home and welcome. The whole process has been very professional and efficient... we highly recommend!

Avoid this place!‘Won’ a photoshoot and got called to redeem, asked to find out prices and was not told on phone. Then went in for photoshoot which was fine.However, prices are absolutely ridiculous, but since we wasted our time we were willing to buy one or two. We made an appointment to have the ‘viewing experience’ was told to not bring children so had to arrange childcare and travel in for the doors to be locked on arrival. Phoned the company who had no clue why and took ages to contact them and get back to me. We were then told they didn’t have enough staff to be upstairs in reception. Although our appointment was pre arranged so they knew what time we were coming. Then had to travel back and wait 15 minutes for the woman to blame it on other customers being. We didn’t get the chance to pick out because was already running late so the woman had emailed small water marked photos and was supposed to phone in few days to arrange order.It’s been over a month they haven’t got in contact and I have been unable to get through. I believe they are doing this because they think we weren’t going to buy additional photos so won’t give me my deposit or even the free 6x4 photograph I ‘won’.This is disgusting to do to new parents who have now not been able to have professional photos of our baby. Other photographers prints are also a fraction of price and not an absolute scam.Hope this saves someone the hassle and so they don’t miss out on photos like us.

Avoid at all costs! Photos paid for at exorbitant prices in the end. They manipulate high prices through offering seemingly cheap photoshoots and competitions etc then only offer reasonably sized photos of beloved children and pets at ridiculous prices.Photos also take 2 weeks to be processed at their 'world class' lab however this has now become over 12 weeks and counting. The 'studios' manager has used every excuse in the book for the photos being late from coronavirus to being lost in the post.

Excellent photographer who was great with my daughter.The service was outstanding and the quality of print that we got couldn't be better.Highly recommend.

Was told 6 weeks from the photo viewing appointment until I receive my physical copies that I ordered. When I phoned after 8 weeks of no communication I was told it was always 6-8 weeks but still no answers as to where my stuff is or why there is a delay. Staff cannot help you more before your photoshoot and before you buy anything but continually fob you off if you ask where it is over 10 weeks later. If any kind of delay had been explained to me properly.Eventually I received my photos after having to contact them continuously and after Royal Mail losing them. The customer service was absolutely terrible with staff often promising to call me back and not once actually did they do so. Avoid this place!

I now have a fantastic collage frame with my husband’s and my family on my wall.The whole experience was fantastic, from the picture taking and the follow up meeting to decide which ones we wanted.Welcoming, warm and professional, I love my pictures and would highly recommend Venture Photography - and our photographer Luke - thank you so much!

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. Our appointment was messed up and we found the staff to be surly and arrogant. Photos were no better than average and prices for prints outrageous. It would be putting it politely to say this place is a rip-off. Subsequently, we went to an independent photographer and got far better service, much nicer pictures all for about 25% of the cost of Venture!
