What could be a lovely little wood is sadly unloved by its owners. Paths overgrown, fences fallen down, information boards rotting. Elsewhere we've seen the Woodland Trust run some beautiful sites of this size — so maybe whoever is looking after Clouts Wood could hand it over to the Woodland Trust or somebody of similar expertise. Very sad to see what could be such a lovely little woodland looking so uncared for.

Bit biased as I've been coming here as a kid, so it hold some sentimental value to me. Beautiful place none the less. Shame the bunker thingy has been removed though eh?
