Megabus

Very disappointed.Definitely not luxury travel as advertised!!!I travelled with my husband and 2 children on the sleeper from Glasgow to London return.We slept in 2 tiny double bunks with a stranger in the above bunk 6 inches from our heads. If the bunk hadn't been above us it may have been more acceptable? There was no place to sit or store any items, no privacy of any sort, no curtain between bunks and aisle.People were sleeping in varying states of undress with a variety of hygiene standards.Bus was full to capacity with 41 out of a maximum of 42 beds being occupied both ways and very noisy (snoring and people up and down to toilet).I spoke to quite a few people travelling at the same time who all said Never Again".My 11 and 13 year old felt sick all day in London due to lack of sleep and were very upset at the prospect of having to travel back that night in such close sleeping proximity to strangers.We purchased ear plugs and eyemasks before travelling back.The staff were pleasant and had no control over the amount of people crammed in.I will not be recommending this form of transport to any of my friends and will in future travel by train or plane."

Not a great service today was kicked off at Edinburgh was due to Glasgow driver was rude i had to pay for train to get to Glasgow it was over a hour late after this trip im never using a coach journey again this is the 2nd time they let me down shame on you you are lucky to get one star you should get minus 5 stars

I had the worst experience ever with a bus driver rude and racist. He do not let me in to the bus from Glasgow to Aberdeen on the 2nd of August 2023 at 9:40.He was not just rude and racist with me saying I can get the bus. He was rude with a grow up ladies. I been 4 years im Scotland and never in my life I had such a bad experience with a person. You should not have employees like this to trade customers so badly. This is disgusting and disappointing human beings manners.

I bought two inter-city ticket from Perth, Scotland to Edinburgh Airport for about £15.I intended to make it for a date in the future, but I accidentally refreshed my screen and the date reverted back to today when purchasing the ticket.I tried to change the date of departure, but Megabus wouldn't allow it.I called and they said they will not amend the ticket because it's within 24hrs.Due to the theft of my ticket as it was less than an hour from when I purchased it, I am filing a complaint via:https://www.gov.uk/complain-company

Website not user friendly in U K could not make changes and was charged 3 times overcharged. Could not reach anyone by phone email etc. 24 hrs later I was told tickets were none refundable.

Megabus is good, but I will like them to be more flexible on luggage capacity. They should allow plane capacity/charge less for excess weight. Some of us are travelling to catch a flight.

Was filming the sign of the bus and the driver has a serious attitude and started acting aggressively. Obviously doesn't know you can take pictures in a public space . After informing him of this he refused to let me on his bus. Typical jobsworth

Sold me 3rd party bus ticket, couldn't tell me the company because they don't track that" and missed my bus

Got to experience free travel in January 2020 from Glasgow to Edinburgh on their newly upgraded 900 service. Great buses, with added extras such as wireless charging and better air conditioning. However the seats are still very narrow and I found it rather uncomfortable after a while. Ok service for short journeys but I dont think I could do long journeys across the country with it.
