Regent is a really nice school. The Teacher are really friendly and you can learn a lot, because the classes are really small.Die Regent-Schule ist eine ganz tolle Schule. Die Lehrer sind sehr nett und man kann viel lernen. Auch weil die Klassen klein sind.

数年前に2ヶ月間滞在しました。様々な国から老若男女が集まっており、数えてみたら私が知り合った学生は21カ国から来ていました。いろんな見た目、いろんな宗教、いろんな考え方の人が集まって学ぶ事は単に語学を学ぶことと違った意味で大事で、国際感覚が一気に広がった体験でした。実は会社の研修の一環で来ていたのですが、ロンドンやケンブリッジなど都市部の学校に行った同期から聞いたところでは、それら学校ではもっと人種は少なく、偏りがありました。中国や韓国の方ばっかりだったと。中東の超お金持ち、オマーンの空軍候補生、ジョーダンという今まで存在も知らなかった国の人、カザフスタンの公務員、香港の女の子、イタリアのワイン農家の息子。たまたまその時だけブライトンが国際色豊かだったのかもしれませんが、人種の多さも学校選びのポイントにされると良いかもしれません。

When I was a kid my father was Director of Studies of St Giles School of English in the 70s, same site, interesting to see the inside of building, the extension at back rear of garden did not exist then. They used to hold parties for students that I’d go to too on occasions on basement level. It looks oddly quite similar, even with modernisation.
