The Spa At Cambridge Belfry

Nice hotel and good facilities but I’m afraid you simply cannot be charging £140 a night for rooms without aircon, especially being dog friendly. Rooms really need updating with this especially as every summer is just getting hotter and the sun shines directly on a lot of the rooms. Spent the majority of the evening in the bar with my dog as it was just too hot for him in there.

Wish I went to the holiday Inn across the road as usual.This place is all pretty on thy outside but horrible on the inside.Rooms don't have air con and fridges don't work. When asked to change rooms the reception said they're only cooler boxes which is a lie.They refused to change rooms for us and staff seem potentious.Staying two nights here and I can't wait to leave. Horrible hotel rooms and not worth the price. Also, haven't got a clue why they need to take £100 deposit on arrival. Seems like nothing is the room is worth £100.Also, spa was horrible and dirty.Ask house keeping to change dirty sheets and they didn't until we asked them a 3rd time. Horrible place all and all

Disappointed. Far away from 4 star hotel, saunas facilities is poor, shower for the sauna is broken, couldn’t adjust water temperature, especially after sauna when you need cold shower- forget about it.Sauna and swimming pool closes at 7pmCheck in is 3 pm, so there is no much time to enjoy, and people from Gym using it too.We stayed at penthouse room. The same story with a cold water in a shower and bubble bath. Water was boiling hot. Bath system needs cleaning too. Booking was made because of the four star , but unfortunately it is far away from the truth.Breakfast buffet was good.

Wowcher afternoon tea spa experience.Overall a pretty good day! Changing rooms look tired and could be cleaner, pool was warm and clean, treatment was very good and afternoon tea was filling and plentiful. (Apart from a lipstick mark on rim of both Prosecco glasses, quickly rectified)

Don’t usually leave reviews however I’ve seen loads of bad reviews before we came and think the place deserves good reviews! Hotel, spa and food was all lovely. Spa treatments were amazing too. Clean and tidy venue and a relaxing outdoor setting too.

This Spa is run by very helpful, friendly staff. The changing rooms are clean, and the facilities are good and modern. Lunch was lovely and having the Gym included in a spa day was a real bonus.A couple of areas for improvement: there was very limited indoor seating around the pool area and they were not comfortable loungers. I also found the treatment rooms to be very cold and when I asked the therapist to adjust the temperature, she said she could not.

Incredibly disappointed. Daylight robbery at £100 for a joint membership.Gym:- Broken equipment. TVs on treadmills not connected to aerial. Rowing machine strap broken on one and the other sliding on the wooden floor.- An incredibly tiny weights area which result queues.- Dirty equipment.Reception area:- Very hectic and an instantly stressful start to what should have been a treat.Pool/spa/jacuzzi area- Sauna and steam room can fit two people comfortably max.- Nothing special- Relaxation room. Pretty much a staff room with a bean bag. Not relaxing.Mens changing room:I’ve saved a separate category for the mens changing rooms as they were particularly awful.- Around 13 lockers didn’t lock because the digital lock had run out of battery. Infuriating.- one of the locker doors was falling off- eventually when I did find a lock that worked, I was really worried about leaving anything in it (or any of the others) as the doors weren’t fixed in properly.Lost for words. If you’re anywhere near St Ives, use the one leisure (far better and cheaper).

Stayed last year. The whole experience was lovely. Nice tidy room. The meal was very good. Brandon served us and he went over and above to look after us.

Spa treatment was great. Got a full body massage (Revitalizing Ritual) with the oils and creams and what not.The room was a bit on the cold side but overall a relaxing experience.Hot tub and pool are also available to use after treatment which was quite nice.
