First class professional service. SDS carried out a shale survey on my property in connection with a sale. From the start they explained exactly what would happen and quickly organised an appointment. The survey was carried out promptly and cleanly. They always answered calls and queries throughout the process promptly and Craig went the extra mile in pushing through the results. I cannot praise their standards of service highly enough. Highly recommended.

Used SDS to carry out a shale infil test test on a potential purchase property in the Thornaby area. Didn't know much about shale and the other issues that can affect a building but Craig is extremely knowledgable and was happy to explain the whole process in great detail. Very professional service indeed and I would have no problems recommending the services of Craig and SDS to anyone else.

A shale test was carried out for a prospective buyer of my property and after worrying about what mess there would be I am pleased to say you would not know they had been ! I would recommend this company , both the person I spoke to on the phone and the one that carried out the test were friendly and happy to answer any questions that I had.

Not everyday you answer door to man with jackhammer and you see him off with a smile. Precision job, was going to ask him to do me a filling. Clean, tidy, took away more dust than he made. Wouldnt know he had been. Very nice friendly chap, very knowledgeable and explained everything. Top job.

I used this company to complete a Shale test on a property I am buying. As first time buyers, they put my mind at ease.I spoke to them a handful of times and each time they kept me updated and apologised that they couldn't attend the property until 10 days later due to work loads.Once the visit was completed they gave me an update on the findings while they were waiting for the official results to return.I called up to query when I would receive the report as I wasn't too sure on time scales, and they sent it through later the same day.

The 2 lads worked very hard and were friendly and reassuring. The drilling was very loud but didn't last half as long as we had anticipated. They cleaned up after themselves very well and explained the situation and next steps in plain English. Virtually no mess left and the drilling sites were covered over and finished off with cement very neatly.
