Barnsley karate centre

Fantastic club, professionally run. Brilliant venue with ample parking. There is a viewing area in the reception where you can watch your child train or there is also a bar area to grab a coffee etc while you wait. John and Ged Tumman have great karate experience as they have been coaching for over 40 years.

Brilliant karate club!!!! My kids have been attending for the past 6 years. Would highly recommend to anyone, John and his team are excellent at what they do and are fantastic role models for all the kids. Well worth trying!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great club for all ages. Excellent training and very friendly. The training the club offers is excellent for a variety of intrests from traditional martial arts knowledge, self defence and health and fitness.

Without a doubt the best Karate training, very professional, caring, understanding and happy to help with any issues that arise. Would happily recommend. The way they helped my daughter over come Anxiety and panic attacks during training was second to none.

A very supportive family run club, with brilliant coaches that help out every training night. Ive found training here very fulfilling on so many levels mentally and physically. We are a growing positive karate family and i wouldn't hesitate to reccomend Barnsley Karate Centre.

Long standing Wado Ryu karate club (30+ years) still run by the same instructor. Great environment for both kids and adults to become involved in a martial art which has both physical and mental health benefits. Many people who trained as children at the club return with their children a generation on which shows the great lasting impression that Ged and John have had on families throughout Barnsley.If you or your child are interested in taking up karate, the Shindo Kai Karate association, and Barnsley Karate Center in particular should be the first place you try.

The best! A well run club with fantastic coaches. My boys have been attending sessions for 12 months now, they started with 1 session a week and now attend 3!! I cannot recommend John and the team highly enough!!.
