Co-op Food - Hagley Road

Really friendly staff. Today the lady who served me took me around the store and showed me promotions which was excellent. I always have service with a smile.

It's not a big store, but they have some decent products and offers here, even though I do think the Co-OP is more expensive than some generally. But I love their Sicilian lemon tonic water which is a great price at £1.30 a bottle, I wish that they had more flavours, which would be nice.Thay have some lovely wine at a reasonable price, plus some very nice food.

Best local shop from the big brand name supermarkets I have ever visited and I will explain why.Local shops are not something the big supermarkets do well. They tend to follow an aloof structure that works well when simply piling high and selling cheap but that then lacks the human interaction and warmth when you just want to pick up a little shop.This Co-Op has the nicest and most professional staff I have come across in a long while. First thing I notice is that they have a wide diversity of people working there and that is always nice to see.Then there is the knowledge of the staff. They know their stuff. On occasion they do come acropper such as when you present an unknown voucher or coupon. Some might say its a negative but whenever someone isn't sure they chase it up and get the information you need. No one knows everything and its refreshing when people put their hand up and admit it. And its even better when they then take the time to get you the right answer and fix anything that went wrong.The prices in the store are pretty good too given that its a local and such shops tend to have higher prices.I really like the ample parking spaces at the front and down the side as you can easily get of the Hagley Road without issue. And then it easy to rejoin given the double width exit.I also appreciate the neighbouring shops, from the vets to the pub, which make it a more productive visit.I highly recommend this branch of the Co-Op.

The worst costumer service I’ve ever seen. I just feel like it is getting worst day by day! Nathan, the manager or supervisor has not clue about customer service! He has nothing to say in this shop and cannot resolve the simplest issue. The regular worker (young, short girl) had more to say than him. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and he was just standing there, and she was trying to be a boss of the situation! I am a regular customer as I live right behind the corner but won’t be coming back there. Lack of respect!Not good coop. You should give to your staff an appropriate training before leaving them alone in the store!

Very disappointed as a regular customer to this store i visited this store recently and purchased a few i items I asked the male worker Paul whether I can have the change in either too £5 notes or coins he replied saying no it’s the company policy not to give change as we’re supplied with less chane by co op which I found strange so I asked what if I was to give a £50 note then what and he replied we would refuse to accept it . So on the next visit Ito the store I paid with a £50 note with no issues I asked the the worker do they have a policy in place not to give change even though I’ve purchased items she said no. CONFUSED

Not good, only purchased 2 items and the cashier charged me for the 1 item twice! I feel the staff need more support as emphasis appears to be focused on delivery orders and notcustomers

Good smaller supermarket. Bit more costly than some but they have a very good range of high quality own products

Ordered via Uber eats and left clear instructions on access to the apartment. Driver managed to press the intercom for the access gates however disappeared! I left a note on the app on the lack of mobile reception and specific instructions on how to get to my apartment!I’m not sure why he couldn’t access the property!I then reordered and the delivery was cancelled after waiting 15 minutes!!My advice is to use a more professional outlet!
