Someone recently mentioned going to this showroom and what a terrible experience they had. I found this really interesting as exactly 25 years ago these people left me in tearsI had just paid £1800 pounds for an oak floor and the fitters made shambles of it. The management were dismissive and rude to me to the point of laughing at me. At the time I said I certainly wouldn't recommend them and it's interesting to read and hear first hand that they haven't improved any. Just amazed me how they are still in business at all. Modern technology is great as we can now put it out there to a wide audience when businesses treat people badly

Not recommended for polishing a concrete floor. Unfinished job and unwilling to return to finish the job. We have had to get other tradesmen in to look at completing the job, 6 months after moving into our new home. Floor was left with scratches (not cut deep enough), insufficient sealer (patchy gloss/matt finish), white resin was not washed off the concrete before sealing so white patches are visible, poor floor-level match between concrete floor and adjoining tiled room... the list goes on. Unprofessional attitude on the phone with comments such as what would you know" and wanting final payment before the job is complete. This is the ONLY company that we have had a problem with during construction of our new home - that's probably 20+ tradesmen/companies we've dealt with. Cowboy springs to mind."

My first time giving anyone a bad/ negative review. I got Hagan flooring to sand and varnish my floor. After the floor was fit to walk on I noticed it was very patchy and gritty. There was a lot of grit dust and hairs under the seal. I phoned them and explained and they came back to try and put it right. They used sandpaper to rub the gritty areas in the corners and put a coat of seal on again. I told him it was still patchy and he advised me to leave it for 10 days to let it settle. Well it still wasn't right and in the end I had them back 4 times. Each time they tried to work at it they made it worse. The last time they worked at it they sanded some areas by hand and used an oil instead of varnish so I'm now left with a patchy shiny floor. In my opinion my floor needed redone from the start. When I phoned and spoke to the owner Larry he did not want to know and said he left my floors perfect!!!My floors are a disgrace. I have now booked another company to redo my floor. I am disgusted at their attitude and I'm now out another £500 to get my floor fixed. I strongly advise anyone getting their floors sanded and varished not to use this company.

We recently got three rooms done with an oak wood floor (hall, kitchen, dining room) and we couldn't be happier.The service from Hagan was first class - from choosing the wood to the actual fitting. Our floor wasn't the easiest to do (there is a slope in our hallway between two levels for example), but it was no problem at all for the fitters. Would highly recommend to anyone. Special mention to Larry, Christie and Stevie who were brilliant throughout.I've included a couple of pictures of our hallway.
