Customer service team incredibly helpful and friendly. I called about 50 times in 1 week to ask them a bunch of questions and the gentleman was very understanding, friendly and patient with all of my questions. Their yarns are superb, and this company provides an all around good shopping experience, very highly recommended :)

Had a lovely Mother's Day treat at Woolyknit cafe. Fab cakes, coffee and really welcoming service, topped off with lovely music from a talented local singer/guitarist. Recommended

Their acrylic yarn on cones is unmatched compared to what I can find in the US. It's very soft, and knits up like fine wool. It doesn't have that sheen found on so many acrylic yarns. As a machine knitter, coned yarn is a blessing, and the cost of their yarn is fantastic. It's worth spending almost 50% of the cost of the yarn on shipping, that's how good the yarn is, and that's how good the prices are!

Nipped in to buy some wool to make some woodland creatures for my Year 1 class. Corrie was so lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful. Popped into the cafe after for some lunch and it was delish!Couldn't recommend this shop enough, will be a frequent visitor from now on. Thanks again Corrie!

The customer service has been second to none. Very polite, friendly staff happy to answer any and all questions and will help ensure you're getting the best value for your international shipping costs.I couldn't fault their service at all.The yarn arrived very quickly (ordered on the Tuesday, delivered by DHL in Australia on the Saturday afternoon) and is absolutely lovely. The coned British wool has a wonderful halo which I hope remains when knitted into a garment.Ordering during sales as an international customer is problematic. International shipping is not calculated autimatically at the checkout stage, rather, a shipping estimate is required to be calculated manually by staff. While this doesn't sound too bad initially, with the number of orders they have to work through, international time zones and the popularity of their website, by the time you receive your shipping estimate and attempt to finalise your purchase, you're notified that some stock is no longer available. The subsequent change in the contents of your cart prevents the system from recognising you have a shipping estimate requiring you to request another. I attempted to place a large order on Black Friday (again acknowledging this is a very busy time for the staff) & come the end of the weekend, I've got a valid shipping estimate but now the sale has ended and all the items I wanted to buy have returned to their normal prices. It's now going to cost an extra £50 which otherwise would have gone a long way towards the shipping cost. It's time consuming for the staff, having to generate several shipping estimates for international customers as stock sells out and must be frustrating for them also.

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Very popular and busy, suggest booking a table at peak times. Have gluten free choices and vegetarian. Quality food cooked on the premises. Also does outside catering. Lots of outdoor seating and handy for walking on the narrow canal.
