A- Z Painting

A-Z Painting recently completed painting the front of our three storey house, having made an excellent job of the back of the property a couple of years ago. We are really pleased with the finished result - the house looks better than it has ever done! Steve and his colleague used a cherry-picker to access the upper parts of the house and dealt effectively with repairs to wooden window sills and frames where rot had got in, as well as repairs to a door. They cleared gutters and jet washed everything before spray painting the rendering and gloss painting the woodwork and metal work. We would definitely recommend A-Z Painting for external decorating.

We were very pleased indeed with the recent painting of a garage door, two outside doors and three waste pipes , which was carried out within a 4 working days period. The work was carried out by a very hard working young painter who explained every stage of the job, which gave us confidence in the work being carried out. Would recommend this company to anyone wanting a professional painting job carried out and the area left neat and tidy at the end of the work.

Terrible company - did an unfinished job and made a mess everywhere. It was a simple interior painting job. Had to get a new painter to REDO the whole house. This new painter has actually taken jobs over from A-Z before, so go figure. Avoid!REPLY TO COMPANY:It was your recent job in Dwyran. Don’t worry I’ve added images to help you remember. I’m posting on my grandmother’s behalf who unfortunately spent a LOT of money and got scammed. You know about this of course but started ignoring all her phone calls regarding finding a resolution.Also, you talk about it being suspicious that you didn’t know me by name. Isn’t it suspicious that only your 1 star reviews have likes on them. It’s a good thing more and more people now leave reviews online so companies like yours that do messy and unfinished jobs and then run away can be flagged.TLDR: Avoid this company (unless you like the streaky unfinished look) They don’t want to correct their mistakes and will run away with your money and will try and avoid bad reviews by pretending you were never a customer…

Carl and his team did a great job of painting our bungalow. The workmanship was of a high standard. Carl supervised the work and was in regular contact with us and worked around our requirements. They were always clean and tidy in their work and a pleasure to have in the house.

We went on holiday and left the key to Carl confident to have a nice result, we couldn't be more wrong. First of all we arrived back around noon and find one of the guys working while standing on top of my tool box, there were 3 guys there and when they saw us there was a sense of huge panic in them and they gave us a very quick tour of the job and then disappeared. So we went to have a look and find out why: the job in first place was amateurish at best, then we find out that the 3 lads went through the drawers in the house, they used cutlery, dishes, oven and microwave without permission, there were glasses, cutlery and dishes left dirty around the house, we found things from the kitchen thrown in the back garden and around the house like they were rubbish, there was toilet paper in every room and the back garden , Carl said that they used it to blow their nose, mast have been a hell of a cold to use 7 toilet rolls. Things were broken, some have been refunded, but even having the account of the builders that were there the impression is that we were never believed and when we told Carl he cam back to us saying that he told the lads not to do it anymore, but wasn't very convincing.My wife was crying for few days because of the distress and we cannot shake off the feeling of being violated that, 2 month after the job was done, is still with us.
