As always a really great Sunday roast and a decent pint as a takeaway meal. Food served on proper plates with extra gravey supplied and still nice and hot to eat back at the caravan. Washed down with the Jailhouse hand pulled ale...what could be better.

Absolutely amazing pub. The Sunday roast was incredible. Extremely flavoursome food and big portions. Really friendly pub. Would highly recommend but call and book in advance to get a table.

Excellent food. We had the Sunday roast (beef), the meat was tender, the vegetables were perfect and the gravy was thick & with pieces of onion. The potatoes were so good too! So yummy! The pub is run by a very nice & friendly couple. We loved how they communicated with each other, made us smile. They were both very friendly and open with us as well.We didn't have ale as we wanted to drive on and do sightseeing but they seem to have a good selection of beer, ale & other spirits.Very quirky interior, I liked it very much.5 stars, I would return anytime!!

Had Sunday lunch here - it was fabulous - my elderly aunt, my dog and myself were made so welcome, with a biscuit for the dog. The roast dinner was excellent, real home cooking and the crispiest roasties…thoroughly recommend!

Lovely meal midweek here with caring ,attentive staff. Tremendous value for money ,two courses followed by tea /coffee and biscuits all for £7.95 !
