Absolutely horrible staff, rude and no empathy for people they deal with. Honestly don't know why the police use this company to recover vehicles. I hope one day they need customer services by people just like them.

Absolute joke of a company.. My car was stored with these clowns in the middle of winter for 3 weeks with 2 smashed windows. They didn’t have the common courtesy or sense to cover the windows to protect the interior from the elements and when asked why they didn’t cover them up their response was no one told us to. Why South Yorkshire police continues to use them is bizarre as they shouldn’t be in business

So our experience was awful. Through RAC they are one of their “trusted partners” and like all the other reviews (1stars only) if I could they would have a minus 10. From 10:30 last night they were allocated to come and rescue my breakdown. 5 times they pushed the job back - 2 hours away, no show, 1.5 hrs away, no show - even 20mins away, no show then the excuse that they had an issue with their truck. We were left stranded on the A1 for 12hours (with no food or water or facilities) until the RAC actually did something themselves and stood them down. My advice - keep away from them, totally unprofessional and don’t care about customers. Reading the other reviews, I’m not alone in my experience and thoughts.

Rude staff on 80% of my many phone calls as they kept delaying my pick up. They also accepted a job from the RAC for a car tow and 4 passengers however after several calls they told me they could only take 2 passengers and that was my fault I didn’t know that. Awful service. They did eventually bring car back and the driver was decent but the call centre staff generally awful. A tough experience. AVOID THIS COMPANY

The worst, leaving a family stranded by the side of the road including two young children and an elderly woman. Kept saying they were coming to pick them up from 4pm then it was 6, then it was 8, then 10, then 12 they never showed up at all. Had to get a Uber at 2am. Absolutely shameful. Why the RAC use these idiots is beyond me.

Green flag sent these to recover me and my large caravan after a breakdown. Waited a couple of hours but was regularly informed of progress. Jason checked that it could not be fixed at location and had to recover. Dropped caravan off at camp site and then took car for repair to their Lincoln garage. The repair was carried out by Adam but I was informed of a further problem which contributed to the breakdown. He said he was able to fix it so I gave him the go ahead. This man kept me up to date with how the repair was going including the cost. He rang me the next day ro say it was fixed and was arranging someone to pick me up to collect the car. Later that day Mick came and I was able to carry on my holiday. Full credit must go to these 3 gentleman, they were courteous, friendly and very professional. Lots of negative comments about this company but these lads from Lincoln couldn't have been any better. A massive thank you to them. I hope all 3 get to receive this praise as its fully deserved.

Unfortunately the AA had sent these chaps to attend my breakdown. Had 1 phone call and 1 voicemail confirming breakfown details to respond to, which I didn't, so they cancelled the recovery. I tried ringing them twice, awesome job of answering the phone. I eventually got in touch through the AA, and requested a straight recovery rather than a diagnosis. So naturally, they sent a guy to come attempt a roadside repair. I was then told its a 2 to 3 hours wait for recover, which never showed up. 11 hours after initial breakdown report, the AA saved the day. Must be hard to be honest and answer the phone. If you can't do the job, don't take it on.

If minus stars was an option it would be chosen.My car was taken here by South Yorkshire police due to a crash and when I phoned to collect items out of my car I was not that I am not allowed even tho it is illegal not to allow me and will have to pay a fine even though my insurance had arranged to have my vehicle recovered. The woman on the phone was really rude and told me to contact my insurance.Once my insurance collected my car I went to collect my belongings to find that they had already emptied my car without my permission and it turns out this happens frequently.I went to collect my belongings from Richford for the staff to be stood outside smoking shouting at me for entering the place the wrong way. I was then stood at the counter waiting to be seen for 10 minutes while they was all stood outside smoking having seen me walk inside.

Update!!! I have contacted the South Yorkshire police and crime commissioner to inform him I believe this company breaches the the OPCC contract schedule, I have also contacted the Mayor of South Yorkshire highlighting this disgraceful companies practices, action may follow!! Shame I cannot give zero stars for this pirate group of people, they make it difficult for you to get your stolen car back so they can charge you more money, they think they are the police, don't use these people, stay well clear! You have been warned, wait till they try the bolted door trick.
