Had a cut and finish. It was the most rushed haircut I've ever had. My hair was straightened while it was still wet and so rushed that it had kinks in it and was a frizzy mess at the end. Would avoid.

Had my hair coloured and cut with Nicola today.She done it beautifully exactly as I wanted it.I found it to be a very friendly atmosphere, very relaxing and the most amazing head massage . Definitely be back in six weeks.

There is always a calm relaxing feel to Sands.Ceri has styled my hair on numerous occasions.She is really friendly and more importantly listens to what I'd like done and actually does it...... brilliant :)

My partner and I both had haircuts here for the first time today and suffice to say we will absolutely be going back. Head, shoulder & hand massages all included in price of haircut were beautiful additions to the experience. We've walked out feeling pampered, relaxed, clean, and beautiful! Attention to detail from Benni (my haircut) and Jon (Matthew's haircut) were second to none. Jon even sorted out Matthew's beard. Very knowledgeable staff. Brilliant experience. Can't rate them highly enough. Worth every penny.

I found it overpriced. I had a root colour with a blow dry for £96. I have been to many salons in Cardiff and never paid such a high price. The lady was lovely and said she could give my hair a small trim, because she could see it wasn't level. she trimmed a few places, not all my hair, and that was then included into the final price. I won't be going again. And definitely not recommending to anyone.Some of the best salons in Cardiff charge £40 for root colour WITH a blow dry.

Stuart and Phil are the only people I trust with my hair! It's not cheap, but personally I think it's worth it. As an Aveda salon you are treated well and the products used are divine, as are the head and neck massages if you get a good one. If you have time & money then you can order drinks and food from the Waterloo Tea Rooms next door and eat them in the salon. Great salon:)

This was my first visit to the salon since February. Felt very safe as I wore a mask and my stylist wore a mask and a visor. They took my temperature when I arrived. There weren't many people in the salon. Loved my colour and cut as always by Carole. Even though I now live 34 miles away from the salon, I wouldn't go anywhere else to cut & colour my hair!!
