Having Christmas lunch at wadwicks, and it's so good I have stopped halfway through to put this review on! Everything is cooked to perfection! Staff so polite and friendly despite being busy. My husband had the burger which was also super tasty and very full of meat! Definitely well recommend!

Once we received our food and drinks it was very nice. There were only three girls serving that I could see downstairs. We waited to order our food and drink for over 20 minutes. Ended up going to find someone and two women were talking behind the bar. The other woman cleaned one table and disappeared. Wasn't that busy inside but did start filling with customers as we were leaving. More staff please if possible.

Visiting my son in Melksham and we came for breakfast as he has been a few times with his 2 labradors and highly recommended we go. Breakfast was brilliant and excellent staff service. Just had to be finished with cake, well I have never tasted such amazing

The second visit here, and I was a little disappointed with the food this time. I chose the prawn sandwich. The bread seemed dry and stale. Which was a shame as last time it was delicious.The last visit, the place was very busy but had excellent food and the dining area was spotless. This time, it was quieter, but the dining area had food all over the floor.Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

Nice food but service after the main course was dismal.We wanted to order dessert, but after half an hour of being overlooked by staff, I went up to the till to order and was told to be seated and someone would be over shortly. After a further 10 minutes of waiting we gave up.I appreciate it was busy, but it falls short of the standard I have previously experienced and consequently expected of Wadswick.

Great location with stunning views over the surrounding landscape. Stopped here after a stroll through the countryside. We discovered the cafe has a fantastic selection of food and drinks and a wide range of cakes too - very generous portions and we could have easily shared one cake bethe two of us! The active airstrip was an added bonus to the experience also!

First visit today and feel like we caught them on a bad day after looking at the other reviews.Came as a party of 10 and despite several tables that could accomodate us being empty the whole of our visit,we were told we had to sit outside. We were told we couldn't order breakfast and made us wait an hour for lunch then we had to keep chasing for service.Waited 40 mins for coffees.Not going to bother again.

Went to the Forage at Wadswick for the first time yesterday. 5 adults 1x9yr child and a 1 yr old.What a fantastic experience!Wonderful, relaxed space with a fantastic view from our table upstairs Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble.Food was fantastic, wonderful beef burger and gorgeous fries. Also luscious puddings.Will definitely return.
