Has been a nice pub in the past but recently went in and the smell of dogs was very noticeable. My wife had to take her wine back as glass was far from clean. It was simply topped into another glass!We later saw two others leave while we were there leaving almost full glasses. We spoke to them and they were put off by the dirty glasses too.Last time it was so much better!

Nice clean dog friendly pub but slightly disappointed in the Sunday lunch. Advertised at £9.95 on there fb page but obviously an old menu as we were charged £13.95 a head. We had the beef but it was more like sandwich beef than a beef joint. Was nice but not worth the price.

Spent this afternoon in the beer garden with family and 2 dogs. Beer's were nice and reasonably priced, with a good selection. This is more a proper pub, with a welcoming feel than somewhere fancy and impersonal.The family running the pub were all bringing in deliveries whilst we were there. They took time to greet our dog's, but in a sensible manner.Thank you, we will return.

Just ordered 2 pints and a chicken dinner, lamb dinner. Was a mistake ordering the food. Lumpy mash, frozen veg over cooked, carrots over cooked, nothing fresh, few slithers of chicken . This is the worst meal we have ever encountered. The place looks rundown and in need of a decent chef .

Friendly bar staff but that's about all I can say in favour of this run down spit and sawdust pub, deafening music forced me to leave after 15 minutes I wanted a meal but the reward no sign of food being served.all very spartan I won't be going back

Great local pub, stopped by while in nearby caravan park. Locals were nice and talkative and service at pub was excellent - although not a normal night for them serving food they still did so for us and we were very appreciative of not having to find elsewhere to go. Dog friendly throughout.
