Looks good from outside and as you enter, but that is where it ends. No hot food available, even though advertised both in the bar and on the website. Toilets are small and poorly maintained (no toilet paper and broken seat in Gents early on a weekday afternoon)

Cracking night here, was more than welcoming to a bunch of tired burly workmen in need of some alcoholic refreshment. Staff didn't mind having a natter with us and full of helpful suggestions when we gave that blank expression while unsure on what to choose for our first beverage. Will certainly detour here again for another afternoon or evening.

Cant really give a good detailed review because only only popped in for 1 pint as the pub opened one wednesday afternoon. But seemed nice lady who served us just not my place of choice. Wouldnt rule out ever going bk if passing or when meeting someone again

Use to be a good pub. With the long standing landlady of many years. The facelift, clear glass windows (which show how empty is ) and the name change (which is a rubbish name) are not inspiring me to go in anymore.

Staff was so rude and racist. We walkedStraight in due to no bouncer and after 20 mins a random guy came up and asked to see ID. We thought he was joking so tried to joke back and after realising he wasn’t, we showed ID. He tried to take my friends ID as they were sisters and share same last name. When she asked “why” he kicked us out. Terrible service and I do notRecommend

Really disappointed. Not been in for some time and as new landlords thought we'd try it for a change. As appointed driver felt ripped off. Beer apparently tasted shocking. Drugs being taken in toilets. Both bars playing football. Staff when they did appear shouldn't have bothered. . Shall not be returning.

5* pub ... very friendly,clean, safe pub to bring the whole family to wether In the day or evening. Since the new landlady and her staff took over 6 months ago they have managed to turn this pub back round to the best around pub in Notts. The pub quiz on Thursday is exciting and incredible fun with an excellent host in Joe. Exceptional value for money and great offers on all through the week. Fantastic entertainment in the evening at the weekend and a perfect venue to watch all sports which can be split across the numerous screens through the pub. The arrival of a pool table has topped the lot. Its perfect for business meetings, funeral wakes, birthday and celebration parties.... I truly cant fault one thing. They even have a secret sun garden. This pub is an oasis of happiness. J Stafford
