There is a bloke here (looks like he hasn’t showered for a week)…Tried to humiliate me because I wasn’t exactly sure what the window trim I needed was called….What I expected was, for the person behind the counter to actually try to help me with my purchase, what I got was an arrogant (“call it by the right name”), man who was scruffy, unkempt and very belligerent….Almost like dealing with a childAlthough you sell wagst I need, I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from this place again…..

Placed an order online, had to come into the store swap it. Because it was purchased online the return had to be credited and I had to pay for another one. I don’t buy from CEF often at all so I asked for the credit to be refunded. After endless waiting I still haven’t had a refund after 3 months of asking for one. No one seems to care enough to solve the issue.

Ordered online, collection in store. No need to have account which makes it super easy. Shame that there was no facility to pay online but can make contactless payment when collecting. Great range of electrical bits and pieces at competitive prices.
