Moron on the phone couldn’t ask a genuine question about how long the meat has been on the spit and then hung up. If you don’t want new customers, this is the best way to do it.

This used to be a bit dear but the best kebab place ever with lovely bits of lamb in a delicious marinade so worth the extra. The last few times were poor though with not much meat, it was straggly and not marinated as before. Tonight was the final straw for us. Therefore, unfortunately, we (Tracey and I) have deleted our account and won’t be using Essex Grill n Pizza again. I noticed several other reviews on Trip Advisor saying the same. I don’t know if they’ve changed hands, changed chef or just don’t respect their customers anymore but it’s a great shame…

they park on zig zag lines and flaunt the law ! as its a biz road and kids use the crossing somebody will be killed or major accident the amount of time they have pulled out and not even looked or bothered

Asked specifically for a burger meal with cheese on top of the meal, 3times.The order came in double as they split it into a meal + cheesy chips (which I had already confirmed 3 times I didn’t want them separate)The shop doesn’t know how to communicate.Won’t be going back again. 2 stars as the Food was ok.

Absolute joke. Ordered the food at 7pm it arrives at 9.30pm when I called at 8.45 I was told it was with the driver and would be 5 minutes. So that was already a lie and so much for fast food my nan could deliver it quicker and she’s cremated. Bearing in mind I also had a kids meal and kept him up far later than he should have been. The kids meal only came with like 5 chips, the half pounder meal they forgot the chips and drink, the doner kebab I ordered they ended up sending a mixed kebab, and the food was lukewarm. When I called to discuss my displeasure they said they would send out the correct items, which they did. And once again it was lukewarm, appetite was ruined and ended up going in the bin. I logged this with foodhub as I ordered through the app, they wanted me to contact them directly for the refund which I did, they then try to argue the case the food was cooked, well it was lukewarm and I’m a chef I don’t need to argue it and they are meant to take accountability instead of being argumentative with customers, also claiming I ate the food when I have pictures of it in the bin, and they are trying to say I’m attempting scamming them for the sake of £18, oh and threaten me on the phone with violence. So I’m getting trading standards involved. Absolute wrongens

Wings were dry, ordered a meal and they didn’t include a drink as it’s not included. (It’s a meal?)

Really good kebabs that are fresh and come delivered with the salad and sauce separate. Staff inside are friendly too and happy to accommodate any specific orders. In the shop it has two table and is cash only, but there are two cash points less than a minute walk away. Shop could do with a little bit of better presentation to match the quality of the food.

Had a chicken kebab for me and chips for my wife. Very hot kebab. Chicken had no gristle, lots of salad. I had had 4 pints though so maybe not the best judge. My wife's chips were crispy and hot. I was tempted with the donor but in the end didn't bother. I think I did need the loo early the next day but that could have been the drink hurting the tum tum. Would kebab here again.

My nuggets tasted a bit off putting so I tried to give my cat a nugget and usually he eats nuggets and even he turnt his nose up at it, and my friend got tomato ketchup in her dinner burger and she’s allergic to that sauce she asked for mayo
