I can't praise Pat and the other staff enough. My daughter needed some very last minute alterations on her prom dress which was damaged and needed altering. Pat did an incredible job, the staff were so lovely. We will never forget this ladies kindness x

Pat and her team always do a thorough job when I need something altering. They make sure I am 100% satisfied when I walk out of the door and are happy to make adjustments when I request them.

I really cannot recommend this place enough. I messaged about having some dresses for work altered and received a prompt response, asking me to just bring them down when I had the time.I headed down the next week and was greeted by two lovely ladies who immediately put me at ease for an experience I was actually quite anxious about. The shop has a relaxed, almost family feel to it as well as some stunning clothes. The lady saw me in my oversized dress for two seconds then told me she had what she needed, and sent me off, telling me I could collect end of day if needed to! When I did come and collect the alterations were perfect this lady has actual magic vision and skills. When I mentioned i worked at derriford, she discounted me and told me any NHS staff would always be taken care of by her and her staff for all we do. The whole experience was just warm, easy and pleasant.

I had my wedding dress altered by a different seamstress and it didn't feel right and when I tried it on again a week before the wedding it kept falling down. I was in a massive panic so I took it to Pat who saw me immediately and noticed straight away it needed 3 inches taken in at the waist! She worked overnight to fix it and kept reassuring me it would all be fine. It fit perfectly once she was done with it and stayed up all night, no tugging at it needed at all! Would not hesitate to recommend.

I took my bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding to be altered as it was too long and hanged low from the shoulders. This is what I got back, it was bulky on the shoulders, you can see that the fabric had not been cut off so it bulged and the corner stuck out. I had to take it to another place last minute to make the alterations again but properly. The lady is friendly but I was expecting a different quality on the dress alteration.
