Spoon & Rice

This place is easily one of my go-to’s, first time I had food here it was like I saw stars, I was instantly a fan. The chicken Juander combo is easily my favorite. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy with a slight sweetness, while the grilled chicken is tender and the sauce provides an extra layer of flavor. The veggies are crisp and are the perfect way to cut through the oil-rich and heavy chicken and rice. Really feels like a well rounded meal. Also as a fan of iced tea, C2 is LEAGUES above many of the brands available in the UK, the apple one is my personal favorite.Unfortunately this specific meal I had, the chicken juander was cold when I got it. But that was not enough to deter me. The food was still class, and I devoured the meal, not a crumb left. I would still easily rate this place as high as I did.I have never had an issue with customer service and out of all the Boxpark restaurants I really recommend coming here over many of the overrated expensive restaurants inside.

This place is my new fav! Absolutely love the pork belly rice box, it’s amazing quality, value and taste. For £9 you get so much meat, fluffy rice and nice pickle/salad. It’s so good I’ve been twice in the last two weeks and it’s easily the best place in Boxpark. Super nice to have Filipino food in Croydon, spoon and rice hits the spot when I’m craving something sweet and hearty.

Ordered through Just Eat. First time trying food from this establishment.Order:- Chicken Juander Combo (bbq grilled + fried chicken over jasmine rice - served hot)- Turon (spring rolls filled with banana and topped with a sweet sauce - served hot)Overall, food was quite tasty with a fair portion size. Fried chicken was nice and crispy, maybe a little oily for my liking. Would recommend.

The pinoy grilled chicken is amazing, super tender and juicy. The pickled carrots (i think they are) are also a taste to behold. The rice is pretty dry but the sauce from the chicken mitigates that significantly, portion could be better but overall an amazing meal for the price (£8)

Well deserved 5 stars, couldn’t fault it one bit. Had the chicken juander and pork combo, and it was delicious. Friendly service from delivery guy. Would love to visit the restaurant in person. Highly recommend.

£28.5 for everything we have ordered in the photos. (2 mains+1 drink+1 side)Definitely not cheap eats, but have lots of options. Portion wise is quite generous.Recommend a casual visit if you happen to be nearby and want some quick bites.

The initial approach was greeted with a smile, by one staff other staff was a little moody.The meat was halal, the premises was clean enough but the decor was spoilt by the hanging of posters on the wall using tatty celoptape.I think more could be done to improve and maintain standards.The dish I ordered the chicken was quite chewy and the flavour was not to my likeying. The spicy oil was quite bland, the rice was nice, the salad, and takeaway box but the rest could be improved.I hope the buisness applies improvement to the above.I will visit again, and update on a further review.I believe in secound chances.

One of the best Filipino restos here in London. Worth visiting Wembley for this. I usually order the Lechon Kawali combo and Lomi
