Have seen some posts on local social media that a few cars have been damaged whilst parking there recently. Otherwise, its pretty well suited location wise for town (or Post Office), for people coming in from south Lancaster.

Not a bad price for one hour parking is £1.50 compared to some of the other expensive car parks...and never had a problem with leaving the car there. Close to shops too.

The location of the car park is great if you are wanting to get near the train station or the girls grammar school. It is a bit on the expensive side but you can pay by card, or app or cash. I would also say we visited on a cold day and it wasn't gritted so there was a lot of black ice on the car park.

The spaces are rather tight and it is tight to drive round. And for some reason royal mail park around 10 of their vans in the car park taking up a load of spaces! Why does the council allow them to do that?!

With a one way system in this city, parking is rather tricky if you want to stopover to visit this place. With its excellent location, this car park is highly recommended. A corner away is Lancaster castle, one turn right and cross the main road u hit the town.
