Took my son to the gym and was very pleased. There is alot of equipment to use all looking in clean working order. All had plenty of room to work out without bumping into each other.

App doesn't work since joining, noone seems bothered. I also take my kids lane swimming and every evening there is a group of younger men that are constantly throwing each other in the pool and generally being a nuisance, nothing is ever done about this. The lifeguard just seems to ignore it. On speaking with other members it also annoys them too. Great to have kids membership for £1 but it comes at a cost.

I come here regularly to “Dad Cab” my daughter to climbing which she loves and the instructors are excellent. I rarely use the facilities myself (I prefer going for runs outdoors) but I do occasionally partake in a yummy reasonably priced coffee. Also, if I’m lucky enough to arrive at the right time I make use of the (free!!!) electric car chargers.

Dear owner,I would like to report this incident dated 17-Nov-2023, kids swimming stage 2, 17:50 hrs batch. My son has been coming to your venue for swimming lessons and he thoroughly enjoys it. It has been a few months since he has been in stage 2 and as per course hub account (your website), he is yet to pass 2 tasks (out of 13).Past few swimming sessions he wasn’t asked to do the task that was pending. I noticed he had a new instructor on the day and those tasks weren’t done either. As my son was stuck in stage 2 for longer than usual, I wanted to know how the tasks are planned etc. This is how the conversation went with the instructor…Me: my son had to pass 2 tasks and it hasn’t been done in the past few sessions. May I know why pleaseInstructor (blabbering at the top of her voice): your son can’t even swim 5 meters without a float and how do you expect me to make him passMe: But in the course hub website the task to swim 5 meters without a float had been marked as pass more than a month ago (and I know for sure my son could do this coz I saw him do that myself many a times)Instructor: I am telling you he couldn’t swim 5 meters without a float. I cannot pass him just because you are asking me to, it’s not good for himMe: (my son was right in front of this conversation and I could see his face go pale) I just said thanks and walked awayWell…forget about constructive feedback, the instructor was outright rude without even trying to understand what I was trying to get to.We have changed various swimming slots and seen various other instructors…none of this kind! I request you to look into this please.Fyi, I am sure you can trust your instructors who has “passed” the 5 meters swimming task previously on a consistency basis rather than a one-off incident…

Make sure you have the waffles!Great rooms, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast! Handy to have a Waitrose next door also for snacks and wine. Would stay here again when passing through or sipping nearby.

The website is a bit of a nightmare. but I was able to book a day pass. It's a good gym for a leisure centre, but VERY busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Not enough benches, only one rope for cables. Loads of treadmills and that. Loads of free weights for when you can get a bench. You won't find much specialist stuff tho. You need a padlock for lockers. But the changing rooms seemed clean.

Play and bounce. Great place to pick up a seasonal cold. Loads of room. Safe. Great big bouncy castle, soft things and crash mats. Very reasonably priced. Toddler loves it.

Swim facilities are great - pool (shallow and deep), sauna and steam room. But the cleanliness of the changing rooms need to be addressed - the floor is absolutely filthy with hair and dirt everywhere. There is also a very strong urine smell when you first walk in. Cleanliness has been mentioned a few times in previous comments - management, please take action.Customer service by those manning the reception desk can be improved too. There were 3 at the desk today yet only 1 was seeing customers whilst the other 2 chatted.

Wasn’t wise enough to leave my shoes unattended for 3 mins during changing after swimming - one of the shoes (!) disappeared immediately and no one could help me. It just vanished, and it was obviously someone’s “joke”rather than theft. Changing room is uncontrolled, dirty, smelly, and my issue illustrates what type of people are among the visitors. Be careful and watch out if you still want to visit this place
