Food was good although over priced, staff were friendlyOnly 1 ladies toilet, 1 man’s and 1 disabled so big queue. Not very clean either

This is one of the grimmest places on the A1 ! Nothing wrong with the actual Greggs service and staff are great as is the food , it’s just the location as it’s not immediately obvious the Greggs is round the back of the building , car park could do with re surfacing

The first visit to this particular location, it provided the perfect stop for coffee and a sausage roll before heading towards the A1 roadworks.Located to the rear of the petrol station, the road to the service area service sneaks up on you as it's not particularly obvious.Ample parking is available in a large car park also utilised by the Travelodge and Burger King. There are toilets onsite, which were in good condition and clean. Indoor and outdoor seating available.The staff were helpful and friendly with plenty of smiles, too.Don't forget to install the Greggs App for lots of loyalty rewards.

Lots of rubbish in car park. Only 1 ladies toilet, 1 men's toilet and 1 disabled toilet. While we were at greggs ordering, the sausage rolls we're sold to the 2nd person in the queue, so none left for us! One minute we were placing our order and the next minute every sausage roll was swooped up for someone else!

Great if you just need the toilets or a cup of something to take with you. The place is uninviting, bare, it gives you the shudders. Its own website photos repeat the same shots from different angles, because there is nothing else to add. I took my cappuccino and a pain au chocolat back to my car. Enough said.
