Excellent guitar shop, Pete the owner is friendly and always up for a chat. He’s done work now on 3 of my guitars and they’ve never played better. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Very pleased with the setup Peter did on my Telecaster. Quick, friendly enthusiastic service. I will be using again and will follow the progress of the new shop with interest. Update Sept 23. Lots more stock in now, his custom builds are first rate. The shop is already excelent and Peter plans to make it even better.

Bought a 2nd hand short scale bass I had been looking for for ages here! I got it for a brilliant price and it came fully set up and tested as standard.Pete is super cool and down to earth, and his shop is *brilliant*. Loads of great value quality 2nd gear, a good selection of basses pedals and really nice guitar accessories. His custom build guitars was amazing too! I'd live on one day! Great shop, great service, I'll be recommending here to all my music friends for sure.

Brilliant Service. Had a custom Strat made and every step of the process was top notch. Pete took loads of time with me to get every aspect of the build exactly as I wanted it. He also kept me upto date at every step of the build. The finished guitar exceeded my expectations, the quality far surpasses the cost. I cant recommend Pete's custom service highly enough, a pleasure from start to finish. Thanks again for my stunning Strat!

My new favourite guitar tech.Brought in my mustang to have it set up + replacement whammy bar. Was all sounding beautiful until I took it home and the fluctuating weather threw the neck out of whack. Pete was happy to adjust everything back to normal free of charge just to make sure everything was right.Will be taking my other guitars here for sure when the time comes!

I had a few things needing sorting on my electric and instead of just paying to get them done, I asked Pete if we could spend a few hours and he teach me some of the basics. Had a great few hours in the shop learning how to adjust my truss rod, dressed the frets, oiled and polished the neck (looks amazing!), setup the intonation, cleaned the pots and improved the earthing in the electronics. Pete is super friendly and patient, really enjoyed myself and learned loads of bits I'd sort of read about but never quite understood. Cheers Pete!

I had two guitars that needed some servicing and a couple of modifications. Pete was fantastically helpful and very reasonably priced. Both guitars play better now than they ever have done!Communication and service were excellent too and I especially love that Rigby is a local Independent shop. You can tell the shop is about a love of music before anything else.Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to buy a guitar too (which ended up doing too!) the prices are some of the best I’ve ever seen!
