A warm welcome and friendly chat from Peter and Mel,I have traveled from durham for the past 5 years to have my haircut by Mel, regardless of circumstances Mel is always happy, cheerful,and brightens any dull day.

Have been a customer for years and always totally satisfied. Since Covid they have made the Salon safe and fully protected. Always made welcome by Mel and Peter.

These are amazing people. After having my haircut bodged up by other barbers I came to these to see if they could fix it. It was a big ask but they did an amazing job and fixed my hair. Fantastic and really friendly people, and brilliant barbers.

I visited Peters barbers today on the recommendation of my brother. Really relaxing atmosphere, and the sofas in the waiting area were extra comfortable. The female barber cut my hair to a high standard. I was pleasantly surprised to be charged less then £10. Thanks again.

Childish and rude staff who attempt, pathetically, to overcharge you despite their prices being in full view. Overly old-fashioned with a cash-only policy. Very depressing. A relic from a time in British history best left alone.One grim little man in particular was insulting, inpatient, and openly swears at you and other customers. Way out of his depth in this field. No sane individual would walk out of here satisfied. More 1992 than 2022.If only someone with gratitude, manners and training in customer service could buy out this ageing, out of touch business" and pull it into the 21st century.Kindness and decency gets you everywhere in this world
