Passed the stall and was offered some really good chicken katsu, ended up buying tako yaki and gyoza that my partner and I loved from their stall, some of the best we've had in Portsmouth and very friendly staff, would definitely recommend!

I could smell the delicious katsu as I walked up. Simply amazing taste, pretty quickly (but freshly) made. Will definitely be back- I tried the chicken katsu with salad, a small, and it hit the spot beautifully. Excellent customer service as well.

The best Japanese food you can get in Portsmouth, if not in the UK. Even in London none of the 'Japanese' food market stalls are as good or authentic as Takeshiya's. Recommended to me by my native Japanese teacher, you know it is good.Either in the cascades market, or by delivery. Takeshi-san and his staff are super nice and always remember us.I wish I could give more stars
