First and foremost Fay has an infectious personality. She never fails to brighten the room. Great with remember names and making you feel at ease. When mixed with her knowledge of Pilates it's a fab combination. I have found my mood improve following a session as well as my core strength increasing over time. Definitely give her classes a go.

TLDR: Without a doubt the best Pilates instructor I've ever had! Incredibly clear and detailed instruction, perfectly paced classes, lots of options for each exercise to suit your individual needs and circumstances, great explanations of what each exercise is aiming to help with and just so accessible and friendly. I've noticed significant improvements in my core strength and general mobility and I always feel so much better, physically and mentally, after these classes. Fay is very approachable and incredibly knowledgeable and her ethos is very much centred on doing the exercises that are right for you and your body, so she will make sure there's an option that works for everyone. I highly recommend Fay's classes to those new to Pilates or experienced practitioners.------------------------------I had tried Pilates in a few different places on and off before trying Fay's online classes in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic closed the gym I had been going to. I never really felt I fully understood what muscles I should be engaging for each exercise, or why, until starting Fay's classes. Fay's instruction is so clear, detailed and accessible that all the exercises made so much more sense and were much easier to get to grips with. There can be a lot to think about with some of the exercises in Pilates generally, but Fay breaks this down very methodically and helps you build up an understanding of what you should be doing at different points.Fay is also brilliant at providing lots of different options for each exercise to suit your individual needs and circumstances. Everyone's bodies are different and some versions of things will suit you better than others in general, and also week to week. Fay's emphasis is always on doing the version that feels right for you - there's no pressure to try to do things that are too difficult or uncomfortable, it's always framed as listening to your body and doing the version that gives you, personally, the maximum benefit. Fay is also great at recommending different options for people with injuries or chronic discomfort, so if you have concerns or are unsure, just chat to Fay and she'll be able to tell you how to modify the exercises to work for you.Fay also always relates the exercises to how they are helping your body and what they are trying to achieve - whether it's building strength or flexibility, improving range of movement, easing out areas of tension or reducing pain, Fay's instruction is always telling you why you're doing what you're doing, and that makes everything so much easier to follow and much more rewarding!The online classes are great quality - the video feed is excellent and the exercise demonstrations are really clear, as is Fay's constant narration. They're focused and you get through so much in each one, so you definitely feel you've exercised, but they're also relaxed, accessible and really fun! There's a really supportive and friendly atmosphere to the classes and Fay's love and enthusiasm for Pilates is totally infectious and really helps to keep you motivated and, most of all, enjoy the exercises.
