We eat here every week after swimming and the food is always tasty and quick. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. They even went above and beyond to make a purée for our baby when we had forgotten his food. Amazing service and so kind.

I absolutely love the barleycorn and the staff are so friendly and cheerful, Each time I visit I get served the best breakfast tea I've ever had. The children are felt so welcomed and they go out of their way to make the kids happy. The food and cakes are so fresh and excellent quality. I fully recommend anyone to visit the barleycorn. The choice of food and quality is exceptional just like the cleanliness

The Barleycorn hub is now my go to place after a swim, lovely food, great atmosphere and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. I even get a free drink every so often with my loyalty card. Nothing is too much bother for them. I would thoroughly recommend then to anyone.

We love getting treats and coffees from Barleycorn Hub on the weekends. My daughter is obsessed with their cupcakes and mango smoothies. I enjoy freshly baked croissant and an americano. Highly recommend visiting any of the Barleycorn locations, you will not be disappointed.

Shelby and her team go above and beyond with customer service. Not only do they build a great rappor with thier customers and serve lots of yummy treats, they support lots of local businesses and do lots of community events such as meet up Mondays supplying tea and coffee. Very surprised at Norma Trevanna’s negative review. Most out of keeping with Barleycorns usual reviews.Forgive me, but is a flat white not exactly that, flat ?!I am also assuming that Norma’s issue was not mentioned at the time, giving staff opportunity to assist? It would seem rather rude and unfair to just leave a negative review. It takes all sorts !!

Very disappointed with what was served as a flat white here. Tiny cup and no more than a white coffee. No frothy head on it. (I know it's not supposed to be as frothy as a cappuccino, different density) Same price as a cappuccino! That is not a flat white! Most baristas would be ashamed to serve it. Don't serve it if you don't know what it is.Edit. A very disappointing response to my review regarding the flat white served. I hoped it would be constructive.I think it is you that needs to do your research on exactly what a flat white is.Its not, as comment below, a flat coffee.Having lived in New Zealand where the flat white originates, although the Australians also claim it as theirs. I know exactly what a flat white is. Yes, smaller than a latte and cappuccino but it still has a head on it which is down to the skill of the baristas. It was mentioned at the time and told it was a flat white.I don't go to Costa or the chains but some of them do know what a flat white is.Newmarket Leisure Centre can make a very good flat white.I did not make and comment on the staff or the service.

Conveniently situated cafe in the Hub. The goods here are almost always nice but do find myself put off when staff don’t seem competent in health and hygiene. Seeing a member of staff not only go between prepping different orders (breakfast roll with meat to a vegetarian cake) with no gloves/hand washing and to then use a red coded knife (raw meat) for a slice of cake loses all faith in bringing my children here after clubs due to contamination worries.

Wonderful cafe. Tasty treats. Great staff. After gym coffee a must.. Plus the occasional spoil me moment. Always worth going that extra yard. Love you all at Barleycorn..
