Ryan Phillips Piano

Great teacher, great MD and great guy. I have learnt so much from working with Ryan and can’t say enough good things. Would reccomend highly to anyone!!

Working with Ryan as a producer was a great experience from start to finish. H has a great in depth knowledge of both the technical side of recording music, and the creative side of producing it. We hope to work with Ryan again in future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other bands and artists looking for great quality recordings.

I've been learning Aphex Twin - Avril 14th for about 6 months with Ryan and he is absolutley great! I have been able to play a piece that I have always wanted to. I had tried it myself and using apps etc. and got nowhere.With Ryan's guidance I have managed to play most of it. He has really good ways of breaking things down and working with my strengths and finding creative ways around my weaknesses. Ryan is a great teacher because he is patience and incredibly skilled.I highly recommend him

I initially began working with Ryan to record my DJ saxophone mixes. In recording sessions, I have a tendency to get nervous and very over critical of myself which doesn't help my performance at all. However, due to Ryan's chilled out and empathetic personality, I really enjoyed the whole process and now go to him for any recording needs. He's great at giving really positive feedback and always gives me the confidence to play to the best of my abilities and suggests ways in which I could make the recording sound even better, resulting in a finished track of the highest quality. I also get production lessons off Ryan. I was completely new to production when Ryan started giving me lessons and honestly was a little nervous I wouldn't understand it, but Ryan makes every single lesson so interesting and I always leave inspired and excited about my next one. He caters to my music taste and really understands the type of music I want to create. His harmony knowledge is amazing, and his explainations make even the most complex harmony seem understandable! Ryan is 100% invested in teaching his students as much as he possibly can to aid in their musical development, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough!

I went there thinking Ryan wanted roses on his piano. I found out instead that he preferred tulips on his organ.

Ryan was extremely unprofessional. cancelled constantly . he took £150 of my money and I still have not received my backing track. He does not live in Leeds as is written in his website. He is to be avoided!!

I only ever have good things to say about Ryan, professional, friendly, passionate about music and a great hard working teacher. Would highly reccomend his services.

Ryan teaches my two daughters the piano. The lessons are informal but very professional and the girls both really look forward to their weekly lessons.

Ryan has a wealth if knowledge in both piano teaching and music production. He is also very professional and works very hard to ensure you learn something and or are happy with the product. I've only had good experiences working with Ryan.

Working with Ryan was a no-brainer from the beginning. When recording our first EP, the knowledge of having Ryan mastering the track was a constant ease. He was professional, friendly and efficient in his dealings with us, happy to make any changes or recommend adjustments to us as he saw fit. The end masters sounded amazing, and even after he’d sent us over our finished tracks and we wanted to make a last minute change, he fit us into his busy schedule that day so we could make our deadlines on time.
