We went on a weekday lunch it was 13.99. weekends it's 24.99 which I think is too much even though they have a larger variety at weekends. Weekday lunch is value for money

Really enjoyed this experience, from start to finish. The food was excellent, always topped up and tasted exceptional. Staff were excellent, well manored, and happy to help with any reasonable requests you have. Would definitely recommend pandamami if you're in the area.

Accessible in town. Eat all you can. The ambience of the place was good, it was quiet and lovely decors all over the restaurant.Selection of food varied. They had Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Western cuisine. However, most of the food I tasted was salty and had to drink lots of water every time.The teppanyaki was too salty as well. The dessert needs more flavour or sweetness.

Good variety of Buffet food, though choose carefully! The dim sum was cold, no soup and the Indian food is so-so. However the barbecue, the teppanyaki, Chinese food including the aromatic duck was very good. I didn’t try the others, already was full. At the price £23.99 + £0.70 ( not sure what this surcharge was for) I would say is fair value. Would recommend.

My recent dining experience at Panda Mami in York left me feeling less than satisfied, especially considering the price I paid. While there were a few positive aspects, overall, I found that the restaurant did not deliver on its value.Let's begin with the food. While it was acceptable, I couldn't help but feel that the price I paid did not match the quality of the offerings. As mentioned earlier, the Indian varieties lacked the authentic taste I was hoping for, which was a disappointment. Additionally, the BBQ counter was a letdown, with meats that were poorly prepared, merely seasoned with salt and pepper. This lack of effort in terms of flavor and preparation made the experience quite unappetizing, especially considering the price I paid.Although there were some redeeming factors, such as the enjoyable naan and the chocolate fountain that my child loved, these positives did not outweigh the overall feeling of dissatisfaction with the value for money.Furthermore, I was surprised to be charged for my 1.5-year-old child. While I understand that restaurants have policies, I believe it is unreasonable to charge for such a young child who consumes very little. This additional charge only added to my disappointment, as it seemed unnecessary and unjustified.In conclusion, my experience at Panda Mami in York was underwhelming, particularly considering the price I paid. The lack of authenticity in the Indian varieties, the disappointing BBQ counter, and the additional charge for my young child made it clear that the restaurant did not offer good value for money. While there were a few positives, they were overshadowed by the overall sense of disappointment. I hope the restaurant takes these factors into consideration and improves both the quality of the food and the pricing structure to provide a more satisfying and worthwhile dining experience.

We didn't think that the food was that good.✅ Good candy❌ Pizza wasn't great❌ Had to spit out some of the chicken for being roo chewy❌ Chocolate fountain wasn't in operation❌ Ice cream was probably the cheapest you could buy from a grocery storeThis was the first time I stopped eating at a buffet before I was full.Shame that there aren't bottomless drinks.But I do give credit for the nice background part where you can take a photo. It was our anniversary.

Service was great, plates removed quickly and staff very polite. That's where the positives end sadly. Usually if I have a bad experience I don't review it, but this food was so bad I had to do a review. I tried a small amount of everything and it was all the same and tasted of absolutely nothing. All meat in curries and Chinese dishes were bone dry and all dishes were cold. They opened at 17:00 and I got in there at 17:15 so you would think it couldn't get any fresher but it was all so tasteless and dry. There were a few positives. The bread pudding was good and the mini desserts were ok to be fair. I don't think the placement of the cream on the gingerbread men was a very good idea considering lots of kids come in with their parents. Sadly will not be back as it's probably the most tasteless food I've ever eaten. Would not recommend.

1st time eating here on our visit to York and will definitely be going again when in york very delicious food with such a great selection so much to choose from highly recommended
