Abhorrent company. Always digging up the road and causing delay. They work for a few hours a day and then go off leaving their Christmas cracker traffic lights and cones there for weeks, months on end. Take far longer than they should.

Been told I have to wait for four hours, which would be ok if you're at home . They can't call me when they arrive at the property which is only five minutes from my house . Not really understanding why especially as the gaseter is on an outside wall and in the neighbors driveway. Really not a way to treat people. They have taken my phone no so don't understand why they can't phone when they are on their way or get here, absolutely flabbergasted and fumming

Cadent have conducted gas work on our road and have dug up my garden, broken my fence and have left my family with no gas for 4 days. We have had no hot water and no gas to cook food. Noone asked permission to dig up my garden, no one tried to reconnect my gas.An engineer also entereed my property in muddy boots with no face mask. He did not offer to remove his work boots or aknowledge he shouldve been wearing a mask. The engineers working in the road were shouting and swearing at each other during the day when there are several young children and vulnerable adults who live in the area.When speaking with managers they were unhelpful and uncaring showing no concern for my family or situation.It began on: 18/06/2021 and is still ongoing at this time as I still have no gas.This meant that We have not been able to wash all weekend. We have not been able to let the dog into the garden. We have not been able to cook food. Thankfully it is summer and do not need the heating.It has caused huge distress and disruption to my family and the fact noone at Cadent seemed bothred makes it even more unacceptable.

Cadent carried out work on our road and as there was nobody in the property at the time they needed to work on our drive/home they decided to take it upon themselves and cut off our gas. Almost 2 weeks on and 6 separate visits from the Cadent engineers we still have no gas or hot water. Lucky its not Winter. Shocking service. Doesn't even warrant 1 star
