I took my car for a simple bulb change which the man in the shop fitted but it still didn't work he then tested the bulbs and my old one didn't work so he then suggested it maybe a blown fuse so I bought some fuses got home and there are no fuses for my headlights eventually managed to get my car into a garage to be told the bulb had been fitted wrong so don't think I will be a repeat customer!!!

Broke down within a few minutes walk of this shop. Rang them minutes before they close. They kept the shop open for me. Worked out every i needed and even lent me the tools. Price was good to.You won't a get service like that at Halfords!

Had what I needed in stock.

Just went to buy a new battery at short notice (mine has been flat overnight for the last 2 days) and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. He tested the old battery (definitely a dud) and fitted a new, more powerful one free of charge. The cost was cheaper than the equivalent 'smaller' battery from Halfords. And then he disposed of my old battery to save me the trouble. All done in 10 minutes. Excellent service at a great cost and highly recommended. I'd certainly come here again for my next battery.

I was on my way to Halfords as I’d already googled what I needed and priced it up, had to drive past Motabits to get there so decided to have a look at them first and I’m so glad I did, I was treated with a friendly smile, didn’t have to struggle looking for what I needed the gentleman came outside looked at my car wipers knew exactly what size I needed and I mentioned one of my side lights were out, he fixed that and the wiper for me in 5 mins, I was going to Halfords with the intention of spending £35-£40, and asking someone else to fit these for me so I didn’t have to pay the extra, I spent £16 in Motabits and he fitted them for me for nothing.So glad I decided to pop in there, I will never go anywhere else again for those little wear and tear needs.

The owner was amazing, I was having trouble with the car starting, he fitted a new battery in no time at all.

Closed, Apparently permanently.They messaged me that they were closed for staff illness. A note on the door would have been helpful.
