Absolutely lovely people working there. They make you feel very welcome and are very customer oriented. Dealing with government has never been pleasure for me, but they changed my experience.

The registrars were on time and very friendly and pleasant. They were helpful and reassuring and conducted the ceremony well...everything went perfectly and it was a lovely day.Big thanks to all at the Hertfordshire Registration Service. Everyone was really helpful and pleasant, right from when we had our planning meeting right up to the big day. Thank you for being a part of one of the best days of our lives!

Phoned today at 8.30am, as its states on their web site they are open from 8.30 to 5pm everyday except Saturday and Sunday. Guess what, the Council picked up the phone, as it was an out of service call centre, and told me they don't open until 9.30am. Useless, incompetent civil servants, can't even put the correct opening hours on their own web site. Lets see what happens at 9.30am to see if they are open at 9.30AM, slackers!! 9.30am start, how few hours they work! They should work weekends as well. At least the person I spoke admitted, yes, they should have the correct hours. Rare for a civil servant to be honest.
