The Love Rats Duo describe themselves as a rock and pop power house and I have to say they are exactly that. Laura's voice is incredible! They absolutely made my friends wedding, the acoustic set for the ceremony was so personal and emotive, then the evening gig had everyone up dancing. Would thoroughly recommend.

Thanks so much for performing at our recent wedding reception.Can't seem to put this in the review section, hopefully this will show up elsewhere on the page!Laura and Luke are excellent performers and helped us have the perfect day in our idyllic setting. From the moment we started to plan to the actual day they were supportive and really helpful especially as we were building our own wedding reception in a DIY setting!All our guests said how good you both were on the day (something we of course already knew!).Really liked the mix of songs and thank you for learning the songs that meant so much to us as well.In hindsight there are a few things we would have liked to be able to help and facilitate you further but I guess this is always going to happen at a busy event!If you want a class act for your event and want that wow factor then don't hesitate to book The Love Rats Duo for yourselves, it is something that you won't regret.Thanks a lot guys and from Rebeccca and myself we wish you the very best for the future. x

We hired Luke and Laura to play at our wedding ceremony and they have been so easy to work with the whole way through. I felt comfortable messaging them with any questions and with song request changes. Everyone at the wedding said they sounded incredible and it was a nice and different touch to have at a ceremony! I told them what time they needed to arrive and they got themselves sorted from there! Their vast song selections mean there is music for any occasion! I would definitely recommend them for any weddings and/or parties!

Laura sang as I walked down the aisle at our wedding. A true professional in her approach, preparation and performance. She did a fantastic job. Her voice suits an array of different styles so she'd sound great singing whichever songs you choose at your wedding. If you book her and the acoustic duo then you won't be disappointed I'm sure!

Luke and Laura played at our wedding reception party and they were fantastic. Excellent song choices that made the evening party unforgettable. Great communication in the lead up to the day and they were very organised. Highly recommend the full wedding package.

The Love Rats Acoustic Duo (Laura & Luke) were fantastic at our wedding. They felt more like friends helping us out than a supplier. They were very supportive during all phases (preparation, on the day, etc) and made us feel like our special day was also special for them and not just another day at the office.They performed an acoustic rendition of Beautiful War by Kings of Leon for our 1st dance. Loved it.Put it this way...nobody wanted to leave when it was time for the carriages. Can't recommend enough!Luke & Nicola x

What a day we had! Love Rat duos spent the whole day with us taking us through from the ceremony and setting the scene with a beautiful rendition of hallelujah, to the signing of the register and sending us out of the ceremony with signed, sealed, delivered!The sets during the reception drinks were loved by all guests. Laura and Luke played background music throughout the wedding breakfast before organising the sound system for our speeches.Later in the evening after our first dance they performed some absolute tunes which got the dance floor bouncing! It was everything we had ever dreamed of. ‘Shut up and dance’ was our favourite, our large dance floor was full and the pictures captured demonstrated this. The virtual disco was something we hadn’t heard of before but Laura was fantastic in her selection of songs, there wasn’t that moment where the dance floor was empty despite the differing ages who were dancing which is credit to you bothThey provided a 5* service dating months before our big day when we met up to get to know one another. It was lovely as they both really care about making our day perfect. Their love and passion for music is obvious.We laugh about the number of guests who commented about the music Laura managed to produce with her tambourine.Luke is so talented on the guitar whilst Laura’s voice is amazing.
