Leahurst Nurseries

I have yet to visit this wonderful nursery from what I've seen from their stall at the Columbia Rd Flower Market in Central London (Sundays only).It's the only perennial stall amongst the other stalls where they mainly have cut flower and houseplant sellers. There are very few stalls that offer perennials but only seasonal and very limited range. This is the best stall as the owner is usually there with his assistant and they have a large range for all kinds of conditions ranging from grasses, shrubs and perennials all at really reasonable prices. £5 for 2l or sometimes there's a 3 for £12 offers. They're all in healthy condition. If you don't know what to look for, help is at hand for any advice on what plant to choose.Of the 4 visits I've made this year to the market stall, from the top of my head, I bought:1. Sphaeralcea Chiderly2. Perlagonium Lord Bute3. Perlagonium (peach)4. Anthriscus Ravingswing5. Salvia Love & Kisses6. Trifolium purpurascens7. Echium pinnana8. Eryngium agavifoliumThey're all doing well and have flowered wonderfully.I shall visit in Spring when there's more choice to see. Can't wait!

What a fantastic place, a tree fern haven in Barnet. Lyndon is a really friendly guy and so knowledgeable.

What an amazing place! They have such a great variety of plants, trees and flowers, and Lindon really knows his stuff and gives great advice! Fantastic place, fantastic people, and to top it all off, great prices!
