Curdridge Reading Room and Recreation Ground

A good area for casual dog walking. It offers a safe and secure environment for a bit of off-lead time (great for some ball action). Good parking too.

It was a very hot day at the Curdridge show this summer . We walked around and looked at the stalls and then we bought lunch and had to sit on the ground in the only shade their was ( of a large tent ). The dog was getting very hot and so we're we. We had ment to stay till the dog show bit but we couldn't take the unrelenting heat from the sun . NO extra shade had been provided ( like at The New Forest Show )to give us relief . So we left . Unfortunately on closing the car door the dog lead fell out of the car door . So we lost it . Shame !! Too much exposure was very uncomfortable too. !

I love the amateur dramatics plays.

Cornflower Sky provide great coffee and home made cake etc. Very friendly and lovely surroundings

I think it will be a great place in the summer, we only popped in quickly as a friend told my husband and I about it.The staff are very welcoming and helpful. And it was warm inside

Nice venue for training or small gatherings. We could have done with the heating being on before we started on the first day. And the tick in the ladies toilet left a little to be desired. But being in a field surrounded buy dogs on walks. And wild animals at night. I could be expected. Some heating in the ladies loos would have been nice. But a tidy hall. Tables and chairs available.

Lovely place. Has an 1884 plaque over the stage. A playground behind the building and plenty of parking

Small but friendly feeling hall which is clean and airy. Interesting memorial board to the men of the parish who gave their lives in WW1. Lest We Forget.

What a delightful place to randomly come across. Was waiting for a car to be prepped at a nearby garage, went for a wander and found this place. There appeared to be a village fete setting up, dance classes for kids going on, and a really good tea room. Lovely setting, tucked away in a quiet corner.
