Robin & I initially meet at a general car show quite a few years ago & had kept in touch on FB. This guy is a clear car nut & loves his cars. With then a soft spot for minis. Quite a few years passed,then covid hit so no shows etc.Turns out that soft spot turned into quite a love so much that he’s got his own! I didn’t realise he was a mechanic with his own business till we got talking again!We reconnected after he had my minis old spoiler which was perfect timing for me as my mini decided her clutch would go again & this time My E.warranty wouldn’t cover/Mini didn’t want to know as sadly all the team that worked on her others/previously had sadly left so know one knew her history!Sadly my local nemesis dealer diagnosed an e.high bitting point but weren’t willing to push for me despite her history which I was fuming! But was fitting a even more loosing battle this time. So was decided very quickly as Fortunately saved holiday pay due to covid incase of future lockdowns had just been paid to! So I’d already decided I’d found who was doing the job! ;)Robin started on a carbon clean for me initially & had been filled in on her checkered clutch history! To which like most were surprised with her age & history & didn’t think she’d be needing her 3rd! but showing exact same symptoms as previous I asked him to investigate. As my hunch was 95% sure I was right!/knew.Anyway Robin got the job to check for me & as I expected replace the lot for me.To my lovely surprise an extremely competitive price to comparing quotes double if not more at a garage or mini dealer.Of course whilst he had her he had other jobs to do for me a light change which again we had to do oblitarty swapsies ;)If that wasn’t enough & my mini hadn’t ‘bleed me dry off all my holiday pay’ & sooome it seems she decided that wasn’t enough! I want Robin to do more work on me!Turns out for 3rd time by local mobile mechanics & our usual get stitched up :(The guy we used in Nov didn’t do her oil change correctly or bleed my brembos (whe did as part of clutch work!)So Robin had another job of an engine flush & oil change! Now I’ll be honest I wasn’t convinced on this one would fix her but I trusted his expertise! I like been proved wrong ;)Yep her oil has never been that clear in 10+ yrs of ownership or even new!Let’s wrap it up there & just say we’re never going anywhere else & he’s stuck with my Madame. Finally found our longed looked for mechanic & noooooooooo more EVER GETTING STITCHED UP AGAIN ;)If you want your car Lovingly looked after by a passionate,Well knowledge guy then this is your company

I took my VW in for a full service and MOT. Robin is a true professional and very knowledgeable. It was a great service start to finish and Robin had great communication with me whilst my car was being worked on. I would thoroughly recommend. I will be back!
