My mum first contacted Jeff at William H Brown in 2021 because she was considering selling her property. She asked him not to contact her further, as she would contact him if and when she decided to move. He kept his promise and left her alone until she finally decided it was the right time to sell in 2022.My mum dealt mainly with Jeff who worked hard to achieve the best price for the property. He was always helpful and extremely patient, making sure everyone was kept fully informed at all times. Luke, Julia and the rest of the team were all involved at some point and, they too, were always very polite, friendly and efficient. As a pensioner, she could not have done this without their help and guidance.No other Estate Agent in the area has the knowledge and experience of properties on the Leftley estate and I would definitely recommend them in the future.

William H Brown has been very thorough and professional with our property search. Ashley McDowell has helped me get the best mortgage rate with going the extra miles. He has provided us impartial advice and understood our needs. He just didn't help me with Mortgage related queries, he made sure that I know everything about the process. Ashley's customer service is the best experience I have got from any mortgage broker. Luke and Jeff have been very caring and supportive and have been thorough professionals throughout the process. Bunch of cowboy estate rouge agents, l.jacobs has no manners, is disrespectful, the worst ignorant and arrogant person I’ve spoken to on phone. They’ll take advantage of your situation and mug you right off! Will be reporting them to cma and property ombudsman - they are complete bunch of scammerssss.

Absolutely shocking and horrible service, no wonder their houses are advertised for so long. Called on Friday to arrange a view for Saturday, they said too short notice so arrange for Saturday next week, they took my details and everything. Didn't get any confirmation so called them today and they said there are no viewings. Would not recommend these as very unprofessional

Thanks to the Branch Manager (Jeff Vegden) and Luke for the excellent service I received from W H Brown Barking. The sale of my mum's house went through so quickly, I was amazed how efficient they were. They were always available to talk to and give very good advice. I got a very good price for the house and I was very pleased. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell a property in the Barking area.

We had amazing experience with Luke Jacobs from William H Brown. He was extremely professional and dedicated. He made the whole experience very special for us as this is going to be our family home for the foreseeable future. Luke guided us every step of the way to chose the right property for our needs. He is an asset to William H Brown and looking forward to working with him again in the future.

It took me 2 years after purchasing my property to finally write a review of this estate agent.. mainly to simmer on it and not write something irrationally whilst I was still upset with the way I was treated.I dealt with the Rainham branch where Luke is apparently the manager. Luke is a fraud. He started with 'if you go with our broker, you will get first pick of properties and looked after'. Being new to the market and naive, I went with Ashley. Ashley was fine, he did what he was meant to do as a broker, really good service from him. It was Luke who was doing the dirty and by that I mean we had an offer accepted and instructed solicitors. Property off the market but then he went and accepted a higher offer and asked me to go 2k above the other buyer. I couldn't so I walked away. I mean I'm not stumped, it was my first property, not my dream property! I believe Luke just didn't like that I had spoken to vendors directly but its a dirty business and he probably just took an offer under the table so I don't get the property. In the end it didn't matter that I was going with their broker because I had already paid him his fee so they didn't really care how I was treated. Would I use their lifetime brokerage service...probably not.

Very happy with the service received. Jeff was my main agent, however, I received additional support from Luke and Billy. Jeff did a great job generating interest in my property. This resulted in several offers and once I accepted the best one, they were extremely efficient in ensuring the process progressed quickly. My buyer was very challenging at times, and even attempted to negotiate themself a very high price reduction at the point of exchange. Jeff was excellent at mediating between us to get the sale over the line. William Brown have also sold a couple of my neighbours properties (houses and flats) so they have a strong understanding of the housing market in Barking & Dagenham. I would highly recommend if you're looking to sell in the borough. Thanks for your help guys!
